FAQ
Do you offer remote consultations?
Yes, at present I only complete remote consultations therefore your location is not an issue. If you would prefer a face to face consultation then please ask: if you live locally this can be arranged at an additional fee. Areas covered for face to face appointments: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire and Teesside.
How can I start working with you?
Please get in touch in the contact section or access the Love. Dream. Grow. Instagram account and send a direct message. I will get in touch ASAP to arrange your 15min no obligation call and discuss things further. During the 15min free consultation we can discuss why you are looking for support and what my approach/advice maybe while trying to address this.
Following on from this call we can decide how to move forward, if this is something you wish to do. If you wish to purchase a sleep package then payment will be required before we start to work together. Fees are non refundable.
How should I prepare for my initial consultation?
Following on from our 15 min free consultation. If you agree to purchase a package I will send an invoice. Once payment has been received a link will be sent via email to a in-depth questionnaire- here the more information you write down the better so a clear and full picture can be obtained. This will be reviewed and a bespoke sleep plan created. We will then book in a call to go through the plan which usually lasts between 60-90mins.
What qualifications do you have?
Qualified and HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. I have been working as an occupational therapist for over 15 years. Working directly with sleep issues with both children and adults who have had amputations and/or cancer.
OCN level 4 Gentle Sleep Coaching from BabyEm, the face to face element of this course was delivered by Lyndsey Hookway sleep expert.
Diploma in Family Centred Sleep from Settled Petals.
What do you mean by Holistic Sleep Support?
Holistic sleep support takes into consideration more than just what is happening with sleep. It is not a one size fits all approach or a quick fix. It is multi-dimensional, looking at what is happening in the family, siblings, the home environment, parental mental and physical health, feeding, activities during the day, stress and anxieties, sleep hygiene, changes that may be occurring, developmental age of the child and more! We take a holistic view we can make longer lasting changes and get to the root cause of what is going on.
